About me.
Hello! I’m Lauren, a passionate make-up and hair artist who is specialized in creating Bridal, Lifestyle and Branding looks. I work solely with cruelty free and vegan cosmetics and tools. I’ve been a vegetarian most of my life. Living ethically, with a sustainable mindset is very important to me. I grew up in Vancouver, Canada; where I graduated from Blanche Macdonald in hair and make-up artistry. My father was born in Holland and so I moved to the Netherlands 16 years ago to get in touch with my Dutch roots. I now speak Dutch, am married to Robert-Jan (RJ), a wonderful Dutch man, and we have two energetic sons: Foxter (8) and Oaklen (6).
With all of my bookings I will be in touch with you ahead of time to discuss your desired looks and create a personalized moodboard. This way we know for sure that you will feel amazing on your special day. I am open to all different make-up styles however; my heart goes out to natural glowing looks. Make-up has an amazing ability to enhance a person’s natural beauty. The ability to create a look which will have someone feeling like an even more beautiful, confident version of themselves is what makes my job so special.
